Upholding the Real Living Wage
Effective tomorrow, 1 April 2026, we are proudly reaffirming our commitment as an ethical employer by ensuring our baseline pay meets and exceeds the Real UK Living Wage.
While the statutory National Living Wage sets a legal minimum, the Real Living Wage is independently calculated based on the true cost of living. By committing to this higher standard, we guarantee that every member of the Peach Care family earns a wage that respects their vital contribution to our society and provides genuine financial security.
Introducing Our New Tiered Pay Structure
We recognise that exceptional care is built on experience, ongoing training, and dedication. To properly reward the expertise of our seasoned professionals, we have successfully concluded a comprehensive pay review and implemented a new Three-Band Tiered Pay Structure:
- Band 1: Our foundational tier, guaranteeing the Real UK Living Wage for all new and developing care workers, providing a secure and ethical entry point into the social care sector.
- Bands 2 & 3: Designed to recognise and financially reward our more experienced staff. These higher tiers acknowledge advanced qualifications, years of dedicated service, and specialised skill sets, providing a clear and rewarding career pathway within Peach Care Services.
Beyond the Pay: Holistic Wellbeing and Leadership Support
We know that true support extends far beyond financial compensation. Social care is an incredibly rewarding but demanding profession, which is why we actively invest in our team’s mental and emotional well-being.
To ensure our staff never feel isolated, we regularly host “Carers Connect” drop-in sessions. These events provide a supportive, engaging environment that is all about YOU.
